Lembit Kolk, the long time head of special
police unit struggling against organized crime groups involved in mafia
murders and explosions in 90s in Estonia told public
broadcasting company TV program in November 2014 what he thinks of Estonian legal system/investigations
at police for what he had the worst words only - turned out he too
applied to police in autumn 2009 with help request and reporting a
crime, then too collected and provided evidence himself, then too waited
for years and was finally informed many years later most crime episodes
he reported 2009 have expired bcs police did nothing at all these years
and what has not expired is not investigated either because "no people"
do deal with his crime application. When even ex police chief of
anti-mafia unit is treated like that by current justice establishment
what chance the ordinary people have. Kolk´s case is just another proof
that Estonia´s justice system has became a Potyomkin village with
rulers/officials reporting "decrease of crime figures" while in fact its

November 12, 2014. You can buy up any official in Estonia for a million, Lennart Meri, President of Estonia told me in Christmas morning in late 90s. He had called me and my son Oliver to his residence that morning so he could leave Oliver with his daughter when he himself joins with wife official Christmas service at countryside church but I had misunderstood his invitation and went with photographer instead, assuming he wants to give interview instead. He sent photographer away, asked where is Oliver and then we had coffee and chat and he surprised me with the sudden statement about million being enough to buy up any official. I argued, asked also does he mean dollars or Estonian kroons (tenth of dollar) but he didnt reply to that. History is going to repeat itself, its going to repeat itself as it happened in 30s and 40s, he added instead. He also told me that day the biggest enemy of Estonia is inside Estonia, its the dishonest clerk. Out of all the long conversation we had, mostly on phone these years these statement have revisited my mind often. So many years later, its the deja vu feeling. After seen personally how many most high rank officials one after another have no problem to lie, help to cover up a crime, cementing their job and selling their soul to devil, I have to admit Lennart Meri was right. And isnt that war hysteria, ongoing inability of humankind, manipulated by global military industry and handful of dishonest leaders a proof also 30s and 40s of last century repeat themselves in new way. I was so idealistic at the end of 20th century, sincerely believing the new millennium will be peaceful and people will learn to live in harmony and peace. And I dnt doubt that is what the absolute majority of Earth 7 billion inhabitants want. So how come we have failed to achieve that. Had it been my choice I would use all global military expenditures for two purposes: to eradicate the poverty to grant food and home for all, and to speed up the space research and travel.

November 3, 2014. Five years passed yesterday, November 2, 2014 since very first details
about the brutality that took the life of my son were revealed in
Estonian media on November 2, 2009 with long list of horrors that I
learned only years later when more evidence started to emerge. And
yesterday, on November 2, 2014 was first ever International Day to End
Crimes Against Journalists. In my mind that is also the day for us, me and Oliver. You can kill a journalist, you can kill the loved one(s) of the journalist, you can use state means to cover up the murder of the loved one of the journalist as the case of me and my son Oliver in Estonia has shown, you can distribute lies about the journalist using state means and "experts" and even if the experts confess years later that their expertise didnt evaluate anything really "because procecutor didnt ask it" the government authorities can still go on slamming the case down, ignoring requests and evidence from law office, trying to damage the reputation of the journalist whom they dont like or who might have dealt too much with issues they dnt like to be dealt as high rank state officials or whatever criminals. There has been many reports in recent years that several journalists all around the world have became some kind of unpleasant tribe now, also in Western world, being harassed and under surveillance without any sold reason and in most worse cases end up being also killed or otherwise harmed. When I told last year UN Secretary General Ban-ki Moon, whom I had met also privately during his private trip to Tallinn before, how Estonian officials have covered up the brutal abuse committed against my son, I wished him to know not all is rosy also in Estonia. With 5 years struggle for justice behind I have asked myself what might have irritated some high rank people behind this cover up most if thats the case - and I dnt doubt this any more. Some ferry Estonia tragedy articles for AFP with lot of open questions since 2004? Or quoting stories in AFP and in Finland several corruption scandals linked to Toomas Hendrik Ilves ever since he started to work for Estonia in 90s? My firm stand in 2007 that ex Communist Party official, ex PM and now EU Commissioner Andrus Ansip and Toomas Hendrik Ilves - president since 2006 - who pushed Gazprom study plan in 2007 summer in Estonian waters were pushing plan that could have posed a danger to Estonia some day if Kremlin has ended up also building part of pipeline to Estonian waters, gaining the right then to send whenever it wants its military ships to guard its property - the right it got on on Baltic Sea, despite we managed at least to block the plan to come too close Estonian coast with its pipe. Or was it my firm stand I have expressed since 2008 that Toomas H Ilves had and is not having Estonia´s national interests in mind when he called parliament in 2008 summer, upon return from Russia to compile a new Est-Russ border treaty exactly as Putin had requested - giving away finally and officially a big territory Stalin had annexed from Estonia in 40s, not asking anything for return from Putin and not mentioning with a word Estonian-Russian first border treaty from 1920 that could pose many legal problems for Estonia? Or was it also the 2009 summer book about our struggle in Moscow for Baltic independence in 1989 in the framework of USSR Congress commission when we tried - successfully - to push Soviet leaders to admit that Baltic States lost independence in 1940 due to secret deal between Hitler and Stalin? Our 1989 battle and victory was huge achievement that Ilves publicly has diminished, including in one of his speeches in early 2009. Too many officials who have been busy to shut down the criminal case about the tragedy that took the life of my son in autumn 2009 are related to Toomas Hendik Ilves - the head of the NEMC hospital Tõnis Allik is his comrade from times when the two men pushed in 90s (also luckily failed) idea to sell away Estonian power plants to some bizzare firm, that many feared would have put the power plants some day in hands of Russia. The state health "expert" and well known KGB related ex Soviet official Peeter Mardna, who produced in 2010 and distributed an expertise with long list of false claims about what happened to my son at hospital in autumn 2009 is father to president Ilves personal doctor MIhkel Mardna whom together with his father paid money as "award" from their family fund in late 2010 for distributing those lies in media. Social Minister Hanno Pevkur (since 2012 Justice Minister and 2014 Interior Minister) whose employees launched the cover up in 2009 is one of Ilves closest ministers. And both Pevkur and his employees have managed to avoid any responsibility for signing officially documents with lies despite such act is a crime - at least by law. And the end of this 2014 summer I saw from official homepage of Ilves that he personally praised early in December 2009 the doctors at the hospital where my son was abused and killed for high quality just few weeks after the first details about the brutal abuse had became public. The ex Soviet Police school graduate Andres Anvelt who presented in August 2014 prosecutor Lavly Perlng to the job of General Prosecutor that was approved right after Perling had let to expire several 2nd degree crimes by the most brutal doctors Aadu Liivat and Tiiu Paulus and nurse Oksana Granovskaja in our case this autumn 2014 (even torture expises in 5 years in Estonia) is a fellow Social Democrat to Ilves at his long time home party. First who told me already in 2012 the decisions to cover up our case seem to have been made at very, very high level was Pille Ilves, head of Estonian Patient´s Advocacy Association.
I have also been for years UN employee in 90s - and for some period also my son Oliver worked for UN, so covering up the crimes in our case is also an act against ex UN employee in Estonia.
The problem about state violence against journalists has became so real that UN HQ implemented a special day and actions to express solidarity with journalists. Yesterday was the first time such a day was hold, coincidentally it was also All Souls Day in Estonia and exactly five years after the first details on what had happened in Tallinn hospital to us were released in media on November 2, 2009. October 30, 2014. Estonian government appointed today new Prosecutor General - Lavly Perling who helped to let expire this autumn 2014 several horrific crimes in hospital abuse case that took the life of my son in autumn 2009. A liar and one of the most unethical highest rank officials at
the moment - Lavly Perling-Lepp-Pihl was promoted to that job as sole
candidate by ex Soviet police school graduate Andres Anvelt. Anvelt, justice
minister since spring 2014 said already in August that Lavly Perling is
his candidate to the job but the official ritual had to wait two months
until Perling let to expire the 2nd degree crimes in our criminal
case in mid October that Perling successfully managed to do, ignoring not just mine but
also the efforts of law office that has presented a long list of
evidence this summer how the horrific hospital abuse case had been shut
down in most illegal way by Perling colleagues, including Endla
Ülviste, leading prosecutor in North Estonia. I feel that Estonia is
ruled by now by gang that can be called without hesitation an organized
crime group - its not a problem for prosecution to help to cover up any
crime the politicians have requested. In our case the cover up started
under the 2009 Social Minister, now Interior Minister Hanno Pevkur and
2009 Interior Minister, now deputy head at parliament Legal Affairs
Committee, during Soviet era environmental clerk Marko Pomerants. Last
week, during his speech at the parliament lawyer and MP who was also
active during our struggle for independence Igor Grazin said at the
parliament: "We all, all MPs at the Parliament are responsible for the
tragedy that has happened at the Office of the Prosecutor. Lack of
competence, unlawfulness and lack of any supervision over the actions of
prosecutors is also our fault." However, nothing changes, Estonia is
going to get a liar as Prosecutor General, it turned out today. Dont be
confused with her sweet face, there is a real criminal-minded heart
behind it.
Lavly Perling "chaired" 2008 case on Kremlin spy Simm, promoted by his own husband gets lifted into job of General Prosecutor 2014

Ex-Soviet policeman Jüri Pihl, husband for years to new General Prosecutor Lavly Perling (Pihl-Lepp) promoted biggest Kremlin spy Herman Simm and also recruited several KGB officials after Estonia regained independence in 1991. When Estonia had to open - due to tip from Western intelligence - in 2008 the investigation on ex Soviet police officer Herman Simm, who sold NATO secrets to Kremlin for years Lavly Pihl-Lepp-Perling was put to "chair" their family friend Simm investigation. That looked more than weird because it was Lavly Perling that time own husband Jüri Pihl who had promoted the Simm over the years and had also recruited several ex KGB employees to work at Estonian security police - where some as it turned out nearly two decades later did continue to serve also their old masters in Russia. Prosecutor´s Lavly Perling "Simm investigation" ended in winter 2009 with just 12 years prison term for Herman Simm and his wife Heete Simm who was suspect escaped any sentence, bcs "no strong evidence" was found by their family friend Pihl prosecutor wife Lavly Lepp-Perling. Just two days before trial Pihl still defended Heete Simm right to work at police where she even used to head legal affairs department and Police Board while her husband was selling NATO secrets to Russia.
After Simm court sentence in February 2009 it turned out the Lavly Lepp-Pihl-(now Perling) lead investigation had even failed to find out that one of the two Russian intelligence officers who was Kremlin contact person for Simm - Sergei Jakovlev - had also visited several times Estonia, presenting himself under false identity as Portugal "businessmen" Antonio Graf. Kremlin fell so low they even sent Jakovlev to visit Office of the UN/UNDP Resident Coordinator in Tallinn old town - where I worked that time as UN Information and Coordination officer - and where he introduced himself too as "businessmen from Portugal" just walking around in old town. UN/UNDP mission in Estonia (1993-2000) had not a single common project with Russian embassy but we had lot of cooperation with Nordic embassies that also financed in late 90s UN mission project on how to integrate Russians and other minorities better into Estonian society - something that might have irritated Russian embassy that once slammed on us for sending them press release in Estonian, and not in "UN Security Council language". All UN mission activities in Estonia were public and there were no secrets at all, but to learn that Kremlin had fooled UN/UNDP diplomatic mission with a visit by its security agent was very scandalous.
When Estonian officials learned only after Simm trial that Lavly Perling lead investigation about Simm that seemed to have based a lot on what Kremlin spy Simm had told had failed even to find out that his Kremlin contact person Jakovlev had visited Estonia, some people who then shared important info to Estonian officials on that were harassed by authorities, instead of gratitude. Among those sharing his weird experience while disclosing some valuable info regarding Sergei Jakovlev to Estonian intelligence was also Ivar Tallo, founder of Estonian e-Academy and well known IT expert who wrote about it also at daily Postimees. Appointing Lavly Perling into job of General Prosecutor on Oct 30 2014 whose family has been close friends to Herman and Heete Simm and whose own husband promoted Simm raises a long list of questions and is just one of the mysteries that has happened in Estonia since some very unethical people took the power in 2005/2006 and implemented the double face moral and line.
September 4, 2014. There have been 3 good news in recent days in
global affairs. First, that Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk will
take over top job in EU and will become next president of the European
Council; Donald Tusk has earned my full respect for honesty
and speaking out about and against Putin and his ambitious plans
always, also in times when in Estonia Ansip-Ilves preferred to stay
silent, or promote Putins agenda (Mistrals, Ukraine, Gazprom pipeline,
plus locally new Est-Rus border treaty on Putin terms as requested by
Ilves already since 2008 etc). Secondly, the extraordinary speech by US
President Barack Obama in Tallinn on Sept 3, 2014 with clear message to
Putin to keep his hands and artillery off from the Baltic States or face
NATO article 5 implented. Thirdly, France President Hollande finally
announcing on Sept 3, 2014 that the deal to construct Mistral war ships
to Russia, agreed by exPresident Sarkozy and Putin 2011 is terminated,
hopefully finally; we wrote many articles before the deal also at Agence
France Presse - on how dangerous and unethical is that deal from point
of view of Baltic States, Poland and Ukraine, and I personally was told
by French Minister Pierre Lellouche in front of French diplomats during
press briefing at French ambassador´s Tallinn residencethat apart of
Poland and other Baltic leaders Ansip-Ilves lead Estonian leaders didnt
express any strong opposition to French plan to construct the powerful
war ships for Putin. How much anger and harrassment I have had to feel
from these cameleons over the years for writing truth and warning about
plans like the Gazprom pipeline in Baltic Sea that Putin promised to
guard if needed with war ships some day. The good news from last days
about Tusk, Mistrals and Obama speech are brilliant in ideal world. In
surreal world where I have been forced to live last years after the
cover up of long list of horrors that took the life of my 26 year old
son in autumn 2009 in Tallinn NEMC/PERH state supervised hospital, it
was surreal to see that many officials who himself and whose employees
have been personally involved in cover-up of that horror, including
Interior Minister Hanno Pevkur were sitting in the same hall; pure
criminal minded people listening Barack Obama´s talk about human rights,

not be let again alone like it happened in 1940 and 1945. But lets hope
that maddness ends without more innocent people perishing, and lets not
loose the hope some day Earth will be free of all guns, with people
still alive.
June 23, 2014. Sorry for being away for so long, my midsummer hugs to all of you. I have updated the information regarding what
lead to tragedy of my son 26-year old Oliver who was killed in autumn 2009 in NEMC hospital in Tallinn, Estonia to cover up the medical mistakes that started from the horrible complications he got from being wrongly prescribed Metoclopramide (Cerucal). I learned only this
May 2014 that the complications he got just a day after visiting
Tallinn NEMC hospital on September 19, 2009 that took him to hospital on
September 24, 2009 were the side effects of Metoclopramide prescribed him on September 19, 2009. My gratitude to
France and European Medicines Agency for special Metoclopramide study
2011-2013 and highliting the horrible
neurological risks of Metoclopramide. I am also thankful to EU
Commission for publishing report last week about medical mistakes. Doing the
best now with the help of law office to reopen the case and to make not
just NEMC medical staff involved but also officials who falsificated the facts
and ignored evidence to face at least.some kind of resposibility to

dignity for all should be our main
principle and human rights should be taken seriously by every government, highlighting several important problems in his speech to
hundreds of students, diplomats and officials. Taking a chance
after his presentation to deliver
welcome wishes to UN
Secretary General also from the staff
of United Nations mission to Estonia in 90s, including myself as UN Information and Coordination Officer at the Office of United Nations Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative I also noted to Ban Ki-moon that when you step out for
human rights in Estonia you are simply smashed down by the current
government, but you learn this and how corrupted that system really is
only when you find itself in situation like that. I
would have wished a lot that UN Secretary General would have had a
chance to meet also leaders of Estonian Patient´s Advocacy Association
to get the more honest picture about what the struggle for human rights,
including in
health care really means in todays Estonia and how vast is the corrupted
ring
of officials up to Chief Prosecutor Norman Aas, Justice Minister Hanno
Pevkur and many more who do their best to cover up even the most severe
abuse

August 23, 2013. Two years after I had a brief heartwarming encounter with Dalai Lama who took my hand and locked me to himself in Tallinn the man who keeps saying his religion is kindness returns to Baltics, this time to Latvia Sept 9 and Lithuania Sept 13, 2013 and as always everyone is welcome to attend Dalai Lama public speeches. And what a lovely timing, to return to Baltics and be here on September 12, 2013 when 30 years pass from the birth of my beloved son Oliver. More horrible facts emerged this summer about what happened to him in Tallinn PERH hospital Mustamäe campus before he lost his life in autumn 2009, after being sedated without his knowlegde with various drugs, chained to bed for days and nights after I wished to take him away to other hospotal, then injected to coma and finally left starving and without any drugs, despite having far developed two side bacterial pneumonia that the hospital had "treated" 13 days with brain supressing substance instead of antibiotics he need. By now a long list of authorities have helped to cover it all up, probably not understanding that things like that can happen to many people but very few cases emerge to public and when nothing is done, nothing changes.
When Dalai Lama left Tallinn last time in summer 2011 I watched the speech he gave soon in Canada, and heard him telling to audience how sad it is when young life is cut in hospital. On December 10, 1989, in his Nobel Prize speech Dalai Lama said among other things: "As a Buddhist monk, my concern extends to all members of the human
family and, indeed, to all sentient beings who suffer. I believe all
suffering is caused by ignorance. People inflict pain on others in the
selfish pursuit of their happiness or satisfaction. Yet true happiness
comes from a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. We need to cultivate a
universal responsibility for one another and the planet we share." Will we ever reach that goal, delivering that message to each person on that planet, so that people will not harm others and every single member of the mankind will start to value the brief moment we have been given to share together this very short time we spend on that beautiful planet? At least we can try.
 
People learn to speak many different languages, but when you are born
and dont speak yet any of them you already know the universal and powerful language of smile, and warmheartness, that you communicate when looking at the eyes of your Mom.
Unfortunately, too many forget or ignore that divine skill later in life.
